The drawstring bag is big enough to fit multiple skeins of yarn along with knitting and crochet notions - a perfect size for medium projects like hats, mitts, scarves, shawls, socks, and baby sweaters.
The zipper bag is big enough to fit an average size skein of yarn along with knitting and crochet notions - a perfect size for small projects.
Features of the Drawstring Bag:
- 11.75" wide, 10" tall with a rectangular bottom of 7.25" x 4.75"
- 100% cotton Kitenge with a light blue cotton inner lining
- Two inside pockets, each measuring 5.75" wide x 5.5" high
Features of the Zipper Bag:
- 8.75" wide, 5.75" tall with a rectangular bottom of 5.5" x 3.5"
- 100% cotton Kitenge with a light blue cotton inner lining
- Sturdy zipper and small loop to hang charms or attach to a carabiner clip

These gorgeous project bags were developed through a collaboration with MOJA Boutique in Victoria, BC. MOJA is a local social enterprise supporting the OneLove Africa Foundation which provides entrepreneurial development programs for women in remote African villages: teaching women to create profitable, sustainable business ventures, forming peer support groups, and training women to train others.
The project bags are made with a stunning African textile called Kitenge - a bold and vibrant batiqued cotton. The fabric is purchased from women entrepreneurs in Tanzania and the project bags are sewn locally in Canada. MOJA provides training and employment to local women with barriers to employment to develop their own sewing business - empowering independence and self-sufficiency.
