Solar eclipse themed stitch markers for knitting or crocheting
Are you near the path of the solar eclipse this year? To celebrate, I've designed this gorgeous stitch marker trio:
- the yellow sun in all its glory
- the moon starting to move across the face of the sun, with gold edges to signify the sky starting to darken
- the moon covering the face of the sun with rays peeking through, with dark silver edges to signify the dusk that occurs during the full eclipse
These charms were designed, cut, engraved, and hand painted by me. The discs are cut from a sheet of lightweight basswood and then dipped in paint (yellow, gold, or silver). Once dry it is engraved with the sun, rays, and moon which are carefully hand painted. The charms are then dipped in a glossy protective sealer before I make them into ring or locking style stitch markers.
Each charm is double-sided and made of a very lightweight basswood.
Features of this product:
- Three removable locking stitch markers
- Silver-plated lever back clasps fit yarn sizes up to chunky/bulky
- Diameter of charm: 20mm
