These much loved creatures are also known as lady beetles or ladybirds. One ladybug can eat up to 5,000 insects in its lifetime! I certainly love to see them in my garden. In many cultures, ladybugs are considered good luck.
The set includes a larger ladybug on a leaf, to use as a Beginning-of-Round stitch marker for sweater, hats, mitts, and sock knitting.
